Thanks, you exactly answered the question I was googling! I use the multifile-upload plugin which allows you to upload multiple files at once and specify the thumbnail size for each, but the image quality of the thumbnails is still pretty garbage. It uses wp_create_thumbnail() so I might try your hack, otherwise it's back to Adobe...

5 year olds can be pretty scrappy. Taking on 23 would be pretty impressive. That's like an entire kindergarten class.

Hah. I took the test and got the same score. Do you think the first name has anything to do with it? :-)

Then again, maybe I ought to challenge you. How about 3 rounds with the headgear and gloves? Hehe!

Hi fellow Steve!

I was going to challenge you to put the gloves on sometime, but now that I see your fighting prowess, I don't think that would be such a good idea!!!

Have a good one,

Last year we started getting Highlights in the mail, for no apparent reason, starting in December. After several months and asking around we found out that one of Jeff's aunts had gotten Laura a year long subscription for Christmas. I'd guess that it's probably a Christmas present someone forgot to tell you about.

Thanks for this, it really came in handy. I'm making "thumbnails" 418 pixels wide, so any quality improvement helps.

I find though that if the source image is pretty big, the result isn't near as muddy as your example here, which is just as well, as I'm doing this all to avoid having to generate my own feature images.

Cheers and thanks again.
